Recycled wooden necklaces
Recycled wooden necklaces, made lovingly by survivors of human trafficking in South Africa. The women collect fallen bark and recycled the bark into wooden hearts. Each wooden necklace comes with a label with the back story and signature of the maker.
Long necklace on a brown string and clasp.
Heart measures 5 x 4.5 cm.

The artisan’s story
Little Trove is a partner of the Red Light Initiative, an anti-trafficking initiative in South Africa. Red Light’s Create Freedom Project was initiated to empower women at risk and survivors to live sustainable lives and to see restoration of dignity and destiny. While Red Light do the medical and social work, Little Trove works on importing their handicrafts to generate much needed sales income for the trafficking survivors.
