RESOURCES – POINT OF SALE POSTERS
To help you sell the goods, we are doing this:
1. PRODUCER STORIES & PHOTOS
Collecting producer stories and photos to supply to you if needed. Stories are available on http://www.littletrove.com/the-producers/
There’s a link from the product page taking you to the relevant producer page.
“Village Hands, Bethany Leprosy Colony, India
Our handwoven cotton bags are made by a small group of weavers called Village Hands International at Bethany Leprosy Colony, Andhra Pradesh, India. The group consists mainly of women. We started this project in October 2013 during a visit to the colony. During the time of our visit, the women were largely unemployed …
The bags use traditional weaving skills combined with 100% cotton and upgraded finishings for the Western market. The weaving gives employment to 8 – 10 women. The women are able to work from home, while looking after their households. At the time of writing, a workshop is being built at the colony to upgrade production to employ 14 – 16 women”
2. POINT OF SALE POSTERS
Creating point of sale posters that you can download free of charge from this website. Feel free to adapt it to put in your own branding etc. We aren’t precious about having our brand on because what’s important is to sell these goods to get more re-orders for the producers.
Go to “The Producers” tab and to the relevant sub-tabs for each producer for stories and posters. There are Pdfs and Jpegs.
We would love to be able to give you hard copy posters but due to diversity of products, producers and retailers’ preferences, it would be too expensive and virtually impossible to satisfy everyone. So we’ve decided to supply them in electronic copy for you to adapt if you so wish!.
3. HIGH RESOLUTION IMAGES
Supplying you with all high resolution images of products to be used free of charge. Feel free to download from the website (normally a resolution of 500 – 1000pixels) or email firstname.lastname@example.org to obtain a bigger image.
4. PRODUCT LABELLING
Improving product labelling to have producer information on the back and signature of maker, if feasible.
Any other suggestions you have on how we could help you, please let me know: Ramona – email@example.com
